No. of Books:

We have a rich Manuscripts Library of near about nine hundred Bengali & Sanskrits Manuscripts collect over the years by our own effort. These are very valuable collection of rare Manuscripts of Mediaeval Bengali Literature. Manuscript studies have been introduced in our P. G. courses. Research Works have been successfully performed on some of these manuscripts. A Descriptive Catalogue of nearly two hundredbooks from this collection have been prepared in five volumes. Presently, we are preparing additional volumes of this catalogue on rest of the manuscripts. However, the post of manuscript Reader has remained vacant for a long time. This hinders the Research and Preservation. Departmental Teacher are taking additional responsibilities.
