Areas of Research Interest: Rice Genetics and Molecular Breeding:- Genomic Breeding of rice for crop improvement in order to increase the food grain production for world food security. Study of rice genome re-sequencing and Functional genomics analyses also initiated to understand the molecular mechanism of the gene action to improve the crop varieties.
