University of North Bengal

Health Centre of the University provides OPD services from 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. and emergency on-call services for the rest of the day.The services provided are doctor consultation (General physician,eye,pediatrics,gynae, pathology and dentist) medicines, emergency management with referral services to higher centre if needed and laboratory services.

The Medical Officer acts as liaison between the State Health service and the University to provide preventive and promotive health services to the students and staff and carry on the National Health Programmes inside the campus as applicable. Periodical IEC materials are provided to the students both online and offline and awareness programes are held to promote health awareness.
