UNIVERSITY OF NORTH BENGAL
In order to the maintain the highest level of academic bonding with the students and to uphold their levels of wisdom, the University of North Bengal has always been in the quest of inculcating and nurturing an environment, where they can freely interact with the teachers, officers and staff-members of the University in any matter related to their academic or non-academic pursuits. Over the years, such a practice has become a part of the student management system and the University became keen to know if any student suffers from any form of discontent or dissatisfaction in any academic or non-academic matter. Any matter of grievances from the students had been judiciously addressed through online and/or offline modes by the North Bengal University Students’ Grievance Redressal Cell formed in 2020 in compliance with the University Grants Commission (Redress of Grievances of Students) Regulations – 2019.
To continue this endeavour of the University and in compliance with the University Grants Commission (Redressal of Grievances of Students) Regulations, 2023, the University has constituted a Student Grievance Redressal Committee (SGRC) on 24.05.2023 for the simplified yet effective mechanism for students' grievances redressal.
