Composition of the Cell

The Students Service Centre (SSC) of the University of North Bengal has been constituted as per the guidelines of the Ministry of Human Resource Development and University Grants Commission to take care of the students’ mental health and address their tension and anxiety related to studies, career and health. The Composition of the Cell is as under:-

• The Dean, FCACL, NBU, Chairperson
• The Medical Officer, NBU, Convener
• The Chairman, Sports Board, NBU, Member
• Two Doctors of Psychiatry, NBMCH, Members
• Dr. Bibekananda Ghosh, Sprots Board, NBU, Member

Procedure for Approaching Committee

The following members of the Students Service Centre (SSC) have volunteered to attend calls (during the time mentioned against their names) from the students and others (on disclosure of identity) who are in need of mental support as per the following schedule:-
